These 1 and 2 Day Paediatric First Aid Courses are perfect for anyone that works with babies and infants.
Our courses equip participants with essential skills to manage emergencies involving infants and children. We offer both one-day and two-day options, covering key techniques for assessing situations, managing breathing difficulties, and responding to injuries.
Our Accredited and Regulated 2 Day Paediatric First Aid Course meets all EYFS/Ofsted requirements and as such is ideal for Early Years Practitioners, Childminders and Nannies.
Through hands-on practice, participants gain confidence in skills such as CPR, handling choking incidents, managing wounds, and treating minor and serious injuries common among children. The practical format ensures each attendee feels prepared for real-life situations.
Each course includes a certificate valid for three years, confirming competence in paediatric first aid. This certification supports safer environments for children, whether at home, in nurseries, in schools, or in any other childcare settings.
Paediatric First Aid - Courses Overview
1 Day Course covering:
- Vital Signs 1 – basic information gathering
- The accident procedure – the primary survey
- Airway management
- CPR – including use of AEDs
- Choking
- Blood loss
- Illness – epilepsy, asthma, diabetes
Price: £540 incl VAT per group
Course fee includes First Aid Manual and First Aid Certificate valid for three years.
2 Day Course covering:
Our accredited and regulated two day Paediatric First Aid Course is ideal for Early Years Practitioners, Childminders and Nannies. It meets all EYFS/Ofsted requirements.
