Our accredited 1 Day Outdoor First Aid Courses are aimed at the outdoor leader and enthusiast that needs the raw essentials of First Aid Training for working in the outdoors. This qualification is ideal for Climbing Wall Instructors (CWI), Climbing Wall Development Instructors (CWDI), Forest Bathing Institute, Teachers leading local outdoor field trips, Nordic walkers, Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme (DofE) participants to name but a few.

Our 1 Day Outdoor First Aid Training ....

Will revalidate NGB awards: CWI & CWDI
Is suitable for school teachers/DofE leaders, Nordic walkers, forest bathing, Rivers Trust, Woodland Trust volunteers & more
Meets the standards set by the Institute of Outdoor Learning at Band 2

1 Day Outdoor First Aid - Course Objectives

This course covers the following topics:

Vital Signs – how to make informed decisions
Primary and secondary surveys
Airway management
First aid and situation management outdoors
Managing the cold casualty outdoors
Casualty monitoring
CPR with the use of AED (defibrillators)
Bleeding
Common conditions – asthma, diabetes, seizures

Price: £99

Course fee includes First Aid Manual and First Aid Certificate valid for three years.

Although the content is to be taken seriously, Stu made it engaging, enjoyable and memorable throughout. Stretching our minds further than the UK into what it would take for us to be prepared in our over-seas outdoor adventures.
