This was a really well constructed course led by a great leader - who was well versed in the many problems that we might face. He had a sense of humour , ensured that we gained confidence in performing tasks in the difficult circumstances we might find ourself in. would recommendPosted on Google![]()

I highly recommend their training! Will was excellent and made the day fun and very memorable! We had a lot to learn in 1 day and it was delivered in a clever way so we won't forget. Very useful day and I fee much more confident if I ever had to help someone in an emergency. Thanks very much.Posted on Google![]()

I would highly recommend the two-day Outdoor First Aid course. Although the content is to be taken seriously, Stu made it engaging, enjoyable and memorable throughout. The outdoor practical scenarios put everything we learnt in the classroom into practice and massively built my confidence on how to handle real life situations. A brilliant course from start to finish - I’ll definitely be back!Posted on Google![]()

Will has an incredible wealth of knowledge and first hand experience about Outdoor First Aid which makes for a truly indepth-and comprehensive 3-day course. Stretching our minds further than the UK into what it would take for us to be prepared in our over-seas outdoor adventures. With a variation of teaching methods, and practical hands on tasks, we were taken into scenaries where we constantly questioned our strategies and techniques in delivering that immediate care. Whether it's stuck at altitude in the Himalayas, broken femurs in the Highlands, anaphaltic shock offshore, or simply a tweaked ankle in your local park; this course will teach you how to handle a casualty outdoors. Keeping them safe, warm, and alive. I highly recommend this course.Verified by TrustindexTrustindex verified badge is the Universal Symbol of Trust. Hot weather can turn an enjoyable day outdoors into a genuine first aid emergency surprisingly quickly. Heat exhaustion and hyponatraemia are two conditions that are often misunderstood, easily confused, and potentially serious if treated incorrectly. Learn what to look out for and what to do.
Heat exhaustion rarely happens all at once. It usually develops gradually as the body struggles to cope with heat, hard work and dehydration. Learn how to recognise the early warning signs, treat someone safely outdoors, and help prevent the condition progressing to heat stroke.
Drinking more water is not always the right answer. Hyponatraemia occurs when the body’s sodium levels become dangerously diluted, and its symptoms can easily be mistaken for dehydration. Understanding the difference could make a critical difference when treating someone outdoors.
Browse our complete collection of Outdoor First Aid Articles, covering everything from emergency procedures and casualty management to hypothermia, first aid kits, diabetes, spinal injuries and expedition first aid. Every article is written from real outdoor experience, with practical advice you can apply when help is not immediately available.
Reading articles is an excellent way to build your knowledge, but nothing replaces practical training. Our Outdoor First Aid Courses give you the confidence to assess the situation, make good decisions and provide effective first aid in the places where it really matters.
